Hello y'all! Just wanted to let you know that I am working to improve the blog, and that new posts are on their way. Last week was a pretty busy one to me. I worked hard to put together the Web of Life show, at the Lexington-Bluegrass Pagan Pride, in Lexington, KY, so I didn't have the time to contact the artists who are in my list of future features or to look for good guest posts. I guess that it's going to happen sometimes due to my regular activities, although I hate to leave the blog unattended! That's why I am in search of new collaborators for the project.
So, if you love to write about spirituality, mysticism, healing, alternative therapies and life styles, myths, tarot, astrology, and/or, of course, art, I will be excited to know your work and eventually invite you to be a fixed collaborator to The Aquarian Eye project. Periodicity is not an obligation and new ideas are always welcome. Just drop us a line: theaquarianeye@gmail.com
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
Albert Einstein
The Aquarian Eye is a project created to give more exposure to the visionary/sacred art movement, and also to link artists and people united by this same vision. It intends to present the work of those amazing artists who can so well translate the supra physical realms and that are committed to the change of consciousness of the new era. Our mission is to educate, network and inspire!
If you are an artist or a worker for a new conscience, you are welcome to join and participate. We'll be publishing guest posts and interviews by visionary artists from all over the world. If you think you have something valuable to share, please send us a link to your website/blog to theaquarianeye@gmail.com
Patricia Ariel
Patricia is a fine artist born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and that has been living in US for four years. A bachelor in Art Education with a specialization in Art History, she for several years taught visual and performing arts in regular schools and art courses. She paints using mostly watercolors and currently she has been consistently building a body of work based on her passion for the figurative art combined with ornamental abstracts. Her work has appeared in alternative and new age publications throughout the US and abroad. She believes in the artist as an instrument to unveil what is occult from the ordinary eye and to rescue the connections between art, magic and the Divine. Her work intends to explore metaphysical concepts and the human mind and soul in an archetypal, symbolical form. It deals with themes like life and its cycles, the unconscious, the sacred feminine, transformation and spiritual evolution and the connections of man with Nature and the Universe.
